Who am I and what am I?

 Who is “TNYJ”?

I was born in England (Great Britain/The U.K.) on November 17th, 2004, at 25 weeks prematurity, almost dying a stillborn due to it. Due to my prematurity, I couldn’t breathe on my own, and I had to be put on a ventilator for about the first few months of my life, however, I could not breathe when put on CPAP, because (at the time) my breathing was too weak, and so I was repeatedly switched from being on a ventilator and CPAP, deforming my windpipe and also experiencing 12 respiratory arrests during that period.

Me, at one hour and 10 minutes old.

17/11/2004.

In early 2005, I got MRSA from a nurse that inadequately washed her hands, the infection of which got to my skin and blood. I had to be given extra special care during treatment for the disease.

On March 21st, 2005, I had the first major operation of my life: the tracheostomy surgery. The tracheostomy was a tube put in the centre of my throat to help me breathe properly, due to the constant switching from CPAP to ventilator deforming my windpipe. I had this tube for the next nine years.

From 17/11/2004 to 2/5/05, I was in hospital. (except 1/5/05, where I visited my Nana’s for a day) Due to my extreme medical fragility caused by my premature birth, finally going home semi-permanently on May 3rd, 2005.

A few years later in late 2008/some stage during 2009, I was diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social Anxiety, Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and a sleep disorder, at age 4.

From then on, I went to hospital every few years or so. Having check-ups, cameras and lasers until 2010.

In 2010, I had my second major operation, where the surgeons removed a “medium” (small but not too small) sized section of my windpipe and replaced the part of which was removed with some of my rib cartilage. 2010 was also the last ever time I tested positive for MRSA, which was the primary reason I was isolated in a room for quite a few years away from the wards.

From 2010 onwards until 2014, there were the usual check-ups: cameras going down my airways to inspect how well its healed and lasers chipping away small chunks of the deformed parts of my windpipe.

In June 2014, after nine years, the tracheostomy was removed. Yet another major turning point in my life, which, a few years prior, I never thought I’d live to experience.

However, a over a year later, in December 2015, I was having the usual MLB (camera down your throat) to inspect my airways. After taking the premeds and the anaesthetic, they combined and caused me to have my most recent respiratory arrest to date, forcing the surgeons to reinstate the tracheostomy for a few days, before having it removed again.

In early 2016, I went swimming by for the first time since 2011 and the tracheostomy’s removal just 2 months prior, something I never thought I would be able to do, again because I had it for so long.

Also during 2016, I was introduced to the more underground and faster genres of music: Speedcore, Splittercore, Suizidcore (named “Extratone” by me at the time) and (True) Extratone.

In the summer of 2017, I started making music on an old PC my brother once owned, however, absolutely nothing was exported and released, the PC would eventually catch fire a few years later due to how old it was, causing absolutely everything to be lost anyway.

During the same period, I also discovered the music genre ‘Supertone’.

Two years later, on January 28th, 2018, I had my most recent major operation to date: the surgeons removed a decently sized chunk of my deformed windpipe, pulled the remaining portion up, sewed that in place, closed the wound and then did a little plastic surgery to help it close and heal properly. Upon returning to school in February, I excelled academically, gaining a ‘personal progress’ award in July that same year. From the summer of 2018, I started making music on my Xbox One, creating music for the genres ‘Speedcore’, ‘Splittercore’, ‘Suizidcore’ (then named ‘Extratone’ by me at the time), ‘Supertone’ and ‘Hypertone’.

In late 2018, I had experienced a horrendous breakup and the after-effects would ultimately change my mental state for the following year. (2019).

2019, in terms of reality was a mediocre year, however that is not the case mentally. In 2019, I made music at school, all of which were the same genres used the preceding year. On November 23rd, 2019, six days after my 15th birthday, I coined Hades Vortexium, the second alias. Initially, it was because I (at the time) thought that multiple aliases were cool, and also at the time, I framed them as an entirely different “personality”, which, today I still regret deeply and cringe at pretty severely. Hades Vortexium, from the very beginning, however, was based upon anger and hate. In late 2019, I attempted suicide due to the mental health crisis that I endured for the autumn and winter periods.

In December 2019, I became a public artist, releasing music made on my own laptop.

I posted a few songs onto my soundcloud account during this period, from December 2019 to January 2020. In January 2020, I gained hope, in the sense that everything will be better for me than it was during the preceding year: 2019. Then in March 2020, the lockdowns happened, so I released a few songs to soundcloud before taking a four-week-long hiatus and returning in April.

On 1/4/20, I got Audacity for the very first time, and was very excited about it. From the get-go, I began experimenting with the software, creating two genres on May 5th, 2020: “Harsh Hypernoise” and “Hypernoise”. Which upon reflection, is very similar to Extradrone. Also in May, I created an album titled “False God”, which had 101 songs, developed from May to late June 2020.

In June 2020, I started being a full-time Hypertone artist, after innovating a technique named “Breaking”, where you paste nothing into the Ultratone track (inaudible frequency) to break it apart into small segments, then speed it up upon creating a wall of the broken tone. During the same month, I started developing a profound apathy to everything, due to spending all day and every day in my room. By August, I pioneered new forms of this technique, Micro-Breaking, Nano-Breaking and Pico-Breaking. By October, I pioneered Yocto-Breaking, Femto-Breaking and Zepto-Breaking.

In December 2020, I started development of my biggest album in my career to date: Reality Has No Meaning. This album has double the amount of songs as the predecessor “False God”. The development lasted from Late December 2020 to Late January 2021. The following month, I developed a Hypertone album “Towards e+1000 Digits”, which has 157 songs.

During the same month, I composed an ISM (Infinitesimal Slow Music) EP.

In April, I became extremely cynical and bitter, and was that way for the rest of the entire year, mostly due to the depressive pessimism cycle as well as worshipping the past. In June 2021, I pioneered a new alias: “=+1”. The alias was designed to Jumpscare you with sound, utilising Silent Music and Harsh Noise pasted in random areas and with random durations. Hades Vortexium and Vantablack became way more distinct from one another, Vantablack focusing on despair, grief and misery, whilst Hades Vortexium focused even more on anger and hatred. Hypersilence, an older alias from 2020 was resurrected and reimplemented to specialise solely in Silent Music, Voiceless was an alias to express my (at the time) extremely pessimistic beliefs and outlook on reality, specialising in Silent Drone and Silent Ambient.

Voiceless released two tracks before being abandoned and killed off, employing FFTSD as its successor, in the same genres as it. FFTSD was to voice my apathy and express a pessimistic self-reflection of my personality. FFTSD was an acronym for “Falling For The Same Delusions”.

OMEGA was a satirical Hypertone alias made to parody the entire genre and subculture of fakers that take themselves seriously and genuinely believe that their numbers are indeed valid, and was implemented just before FFTSD.

Datasmr is my ninth alias, specialising in Field Recording, Glitch, Raw Data and ASMR. Datasmr recently gained two newer and distinct purposes in the emotional side of the compositions, aside from relaxation (these two mostly involve the Glitch aspect of the alias). These purposes are 1: To express how I sometimes feel like a glitch and 2: To express how I feel like I don’t fit in, anywhere, under any regard.

Phantomia is the tenth alias, for synth compositions, mainly using a keyboard synthesiser. In the succession of Phantomia’s implementation, two aliases were born, using the same instrument, but in two very different and distinct ways: Solarium, the eleventh alias, distorted the synth to the point of becoming Harsh Noise and Complexity3, the twelfth alias, amplified the synth to near dead-silence.

The thirteenth and final alias of last year was Hyperchaos, an alias hellbent on destroying the sound WITHOUT the use of any distortion, other than the various effects, the most common effect used was pitch-shifting, causing the composition to sound very glitchy, as though Datasmr created it.

On August 26th, 2021, I retired from Hypertone as Vortex Reaper entirely, releasing “End Of An Era”.

On October 3rd, 2021, the first major negative event happened during that year. A letter from the government came through the post, saying that I was ineligible for PIP (disability allowance), when in reality, the letter itself wasn’t meant for me and was an error. Then the following month, on November 24th, 2021, the day after Hades Vortexium’s second anniversary, the second major negative event occurred, in which I lost all 3,100+ songs, of which were stored on one SD Card. Causing the fourteenth alias to be coined in response: Deep End. This alias specifically used the instrument of the Kaossilator, and specialised in expressing madness and chaos. It released songs from January to May 2022.

On December 30th, 2021, I gained an immense feeling of hope and optimism for the upcoming year, stating that I finally have a real chance to change myself for the better and remedy the preceding two years. From December 31st, 2021, I started helping out at home, as a small tester, and by midnight, I coined the name for this year: “18th year - Salvation.”. From January to February, I helped out daily, burning myself out physically by March, the month where the first major negative event occurred as well, where my great-grandmother died in her sleep, at age 92 of sepsis. Two days afterwards, three separate compositions were made: A Hades Vortexium track, a Vantablack track and a collaborative composition involving Hades Vortexium, Vantablack and Spectralon. Spectralon was the first positive alias to be coined and implemented during this year, on 12/1/22. It is the opposite of Vantablack, focusing on happiness, optimism and hope. In April, I began weighing the idea of documenting my entire existence in music, but was unsure of what to do with it and if I’d be labelled a “copycat”.

The following month, on May 20th, I started officially cataloguing and compiling everything for the Life Mixtapes, separating my life into five distinct phases so far (also “stages”). From the years 2004 to 2009 (“TNYJ-0 - Beginnings Of A Bizarre Existence”), 2010 - 2015 (“TNYJ-1 - Curiosity And Exploration”), 2016 - 2018 (“TNYJ-2 - Introduction To The Underground”), 2019 - 2021 (“TNYJ-3 - The Vantablack Years”), with 2019, 2020 and 2021 initially being individual, singular mixtapes, 2022 - 2024 (“TNYJ-4 - Spectralon Remedy”) and 2025 - 2029 ("TNYJ-5 - Post-Remedy") (sixth overall phase of my life (IN PROGRESS)).

On May 22nd, I revisited Gram’s house (after she died) for the first time in over 15 years, and the entire place felt familiar despite all the renovations taking place. A few days later, I visited Nana’s house in the absence of my parents’ accompany for the first time in 16 years.

In September, the debut album for my duo band project ‘TeaL’, named ‘Significance’ was completed, and is due to be released on 20/11/22.

So far, in this month, Herja Sonus, my nineteenth alias was implemented, focusing on unnerving and (perhaps) even disturbing compositions, the country has turned to shit, and it’s starting to affect me and my outlook, causing an internal battle between the pessimistic nihilism from last year and hopeful optimism from this year to clash, causing sudden switches in my mood and overall outlook, Methrack finally got a soundcloud account and Inaccessible, my twentieth alias was successfully implemented. Inaccessible focuses on loneliness, due to my extremely ambiverted personality.

The anniversary of my initial descent into madness has begun and is currently here, so the real test of my willpower begins now. The period lasted from October 3rd to November 24th. So far, with everything currently occurring in Great Britain, with the cost of living crisis, energy crisis, pound sterling crashing, inflation and general economic turmoil, it isn’t looking good for the much-wanted and desired positive and hopeful outlook on reality. However, I don’t intend to stop trying. In very personal terms, this year has been the greatest success for Year Zero of the TNYJ-3 Remedy (officially named the “Spectralon Remedy”), and I intend to keep it all going.

Another revelation that has been made this year is that I was actually born exactly 446 years to the day of Queen Elizabeth I’s accession to the throne (November 17th, 1558 - March 20th, 1603, that was the length of her reign, my birth, as expressed way earlier in this documentation was November 17th, 2004).

On October 13th, 2022, I finally started development of the first mixtape’s creation (“TNYJ-0 - Beginnings Of A Bizarre Existence (2004 - 2009)”).

On October 16th, 2022, my dad moved out the house and moved back in with his parents because of yet another argumentative occurrence with my mum and in response, I coined the alias “Cruciatus”, the alias for pain and suffering.

On November 3rd and 4th, 2022, I implemented the aliases “Memorable Mistakes”, “Tristitia”, “Unobtainium” and “Eros Hedone”, personalising their respective soundcloud accounts and releasing their first compositions, some of which are unofficial and are labelled “tests”.

On November 21st, I implemented the very first alias of Young Adulthood: Voidscape. A soundscape alias that is rather bizarre in sound, much like every other alias in my (current) roster.

On 30/11/22, the second ever alias of Young Adulthood was coined: Impotentia. The alias focused on expressing powerlessness via very slow, low-pitched and depressive compositions.

On January 17th and 18th, I completed and released both TNYJ-1 - Curiosity And Exploration (2010 - 2015) and TNYJ-2 - Introduction To The Underground (2016 - 2018), the second and third entry in the project: "TNYJ - Life.". A few days after that, the first mixtape of "TNYJ-3" was released: "VY_0 - Age Of Misery And Pain (2019)".

On 11/2/23, the second mixtape of TNYJ-3 was released: "VY_1 - Introduction To Audacity And Apathy (2020)".

In mid-late March 2023, in a bizarre turn of events, my SD Cards, containing my whole discography from 2020-21 was found and the contents of which were digitally transferred back to me. This has since spawned a massive archival effort that is still currently ongoing.

In late May and early June 2023, the final mixtape for TNYJ-3 was released ("VY_2 - Age Of Absolute Misery, Nihilism, Pessimism And Delusions (2021)"), as well as the entire phase itself ("TNYJ-3 - The Vantablack Years").

In early August 2023, the Datasmr alias released its debut EP: "Collective Experience_1" after over 2 years. It was developed over a period of over 4 months.

On September 29th, 2023, the Life Mixtape of 2022 ("SY_0 - S-R_0 - Remedy Of 2019 (2022)") was completed and released.

On October 9th, 2023, the More Obsolete LP, by Hades Vortexium, was completed. More Obsolete is a 16-track Noise LP, made as a sequel to the 8-track Noise Ambient LP from June 2020, by the same alias. More Obsolete was in development from 1/10/23 - 9/10/23.

On November 17th, 2023, my 19th birthday, Deep End and Shallow Incipience were resurrected.

On December 21st, 2023, Herja Sonus completed its debut LP: Anxiety. It has 34 total tracks, but 33 overall acts (discounting "Herja Sonus - Anxiety (Act XXVIII) (X2 Edit)").

On December 29th, 2023, the Life Mixtape Entry "SY_1 - S-R_1 - Achieving Salvation? - The Great Pendulum (2023)" was released.

In January 2024, multiple albums were released: Inaccessible - The Path Of A Loner EP (6/1/24), Hades Vortexium - A Piece Of My Mind LP (18/1/24), TNYJ - One Last Chance (27/1/24) and TNYJ - 6 Years EP (29/1/24).

In early March 2024, I started a trial run of Sertraline antidepressants.

On March 30th, 2024, the album: My Current Mental Stat3 was completed and released in full.

On April 4th, 2024, testing for a new potential alias began. The concept is that of low-quality music. The alias is named "Destore". The name symbolising the loss of quality, as it's a play on the words: "Destroy" and "Restore". The style will be expanded upon, as it is still in the testing phase. Some tracks will be reconstructions of other works, albeit in low quality, as to suit both aspects of the name. There will be glitches, inspired by that of Datasmr. Random stutters and jump-cuts to random sections of a track, much like the preceding alias: Insobrius. Except, with this one, it seems entirely doable as of late.

On April 12th, 2024, the debut EP by the alias: Phantom Vibrations was completed and released in full.

On May 10th, 2024, I got the number of my biological father, possibly the most surreal moment of the year, until June 23rd and November 17th.

On June 23rd, 2024, I celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Tracheostomy Decannulation (dubbed: "10 Years Challenge (Part 1)").

On  July 20th, 2024, I got a laptop that has a working microphone and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing me to make music at home properly for the first time since the Summer of 2021.

On August 9th, 2024, Destore's debut album: "Quality Of Life" was completed and released in full.

On August 17th, 2024, Unobtainium released it's debut EP: "3+Experiments". It goes from 300,000,000 to 300,000,000,000,000,000,000 BPM.

On October 9th, 2024, I began the initial steps towards getting a part-time job, this will be the long-sought-after objective that I have spent the last 2 years of my life to get to and achieve.

On November 3rd, 2024, I released an album debuting a new alias: Droner. The album title is: The Monotony Of Life, with 13 tracks and a total length of 6+ hours.

On December 15th, 2024, I debuted another alias, by the name: Anima Rotta, focusing on my traumas, past and present. The name directly translates to: "Broken Soul".

On December 30th, 2024, I released the final album of the year and of the TNYJ-4 Period as a whole: "TNYJ-4 - Closing Ceremonies", featuring 31 tracks.

Activity Period (surface web): 2017 - 2025.

(...).

All genres innovated by me (May 2020 - Present):

Hypernoise: Hypernoise, on the surface, seems like Extradrone and sounds similar to it in some cases, but it actually isn’t the same. It is a tone at Hypertone levels of BPM, stretched out, distorted and then sped up and distorted again. The process is done in layers, where you stretch the tone, distort it to the point of becoming Harsh Noise, speed that up, then distort it to the extent of becoming harsh noise again, usually repeating the latter two steps before reapplying step one. You stop when you get a composition that sounds like this: https://youtu.be/fABACPIremg.

Harsh Hypernoise: The method to make this genre is the same as the former, except with way more distortion.

Silent Music: This “genre” wasn’t created by me, it was created by John Cage in 1952, with his composition “4’33”. It was expanded and innovated by me in April last year, as two aliases: Vortex Reaper (to test if it was truly doable, and Hypersilence as a way to revive the alias and truly pioneer the medium. It is the easiest “genre” to create, as all you need to do is take a composition (preferably your own original work) and amplify it by a negative value to the point it is near dead silence. One important thing of note is the fact that Silent Music is not a genre, but in fact, an entirely different medium of music.

Silent Synth: This genre is completely within the Silent Music medium, as it is synth amplified to near dead silence. It is mainly innovated by the alias “Complexity3”.

Harsh Synth Noise: This genre is the exact opposite of the above entry. Being synth distorted to the extent of becoming Harsh Noise. It is mainly innovated by Solarium.

Chaos Drone: This genre is a weirder one because it is a drone track with the sound completely destroyed to the point of sounding like a glitchy mess, usually done by severely pitch-shifting the drone track (sample) up and down repeatedly. It is mainly innovated by Hyperchaos.

Depressive Chaos Drone: The above entry but done with a depressive sample instead of a “normal” sample. Also pioneered by Hyperchaos.

Vocal Drone: This is the second-most recent genre to be innovated by me. It is drone entirely comprised of human voices. It has been innovated by five aliases of mine. Vortex Reaper to test if it was indeed viable, Spectralon to prove its existence, as well as Vantablack,  REM to fulfil its specific meaningful purpose and the most recent one being Inaccessible, to also fulfil its purpose. The last alias is also the pioneer of another genre related to the use of human voices, which is the next entry below this one.

Vocal Ambient: This genre is specifically utilised by the alias ‘Inaccessible’. This genre specifically uses human voices and remixes them to be completely indistinguishable and unintelligible, sometimes compositions using this genre are extremely low-pitched and others may be extremely high-pitched, similar to Ultrasynth and Infrasynth, but in the context of human voices.

Inframbient: Inframbient is a subgenre of Ambient, which is extremely low-pitched to such an extent it becomes an infrasound. It is mainly innovated by two aliases: Memorable Mistakes and Inaccessible.

Ultrambient: Ultrambient is the exact opposite of the genre above. It is ambient with such high pitch that it becomes an ultrasound. It is mainly innovated by Inaccessible, because such is established that pitch-shifting any sound in general will slightly distort it and that upon doing so more and more on a constant basis, the sound is completely destroyed beyond cohesion, (refer to the entire purpose of Hyperchaos), and thus, the sounds become either infrasounds or ultrasounds, depending on which direction it is all pitch-shifted. If it’s in both directions, then it will be a complete mess. The resulting sound would become glitch music, due to how severely deformed the resulting sounds are, after being pitch-shifted up and down countless times.

Because of this, the genre “Chaos Drone” comes to mind, as the main technique is up-down pitch-shifting. In a way, these two genres are based on Chaos Drone itself, because it’s just pitch-shifting an ambient/drone track in a singular direction, rather than both directions countless times.

Sad Hypertone: This genre is actually based on ‘Sad Extratone’, a genre of which was innovated by DF in 2016. “It is the use of extremely depressive music with 3600 BPM Extratone tones.” - Definition of the aforementioned ’Sadtone’ Genre. I put a spin on it and increased the BPM to 1,200,000+, right now, however, only one instance of Sad Hypertone exists so far, and the song is “Tristitia and Unobtainium - Depression LXXXIV”: https://youtu.be/JE1Hfo-JQ7E. This is different to Sadtone mainly only because of the BPMs. However, I would still consider it the Sadtone Genre because Hypertone in of itself is a subgenre of Extratone and Supertone, thus the logical conclusion is that Sad Hypertone would be a “subgenre” of Sad Extratone, whilst still ultimately being considered Sadtone, due to it becoming an umbrella term.

Sad Glitch: This genre is adding a depressive melody to either Raw Data or just remixing the aforementioned by glitching it in very random ways and times. Innovated by Datasmr. This is the best example of the genre thus far: https://on.soundcloud.com/UW6uoScW4mCziPha7. It is also called “Depressive Glitch”.

Dark Noise: This genre is based on Dark Ambient, where the noise itself is dark and looming. It is innovated by aliases such as Hades Vortexium and (possibly, in the future) Herja Sonus. There is possibly a harsher variant, but it would still be considered as "Dark Noise", rather than "Dark Harsh Noise".

Dark Rave: This genre is mainly innovated by the Herja Sonus alias. It's characterised with Dark Ambient having an extremely distinct and rhythmic pulsation. It's still being experimented on and the definition will be expanded upon in due time. This would also be a rave track with dark ambient influences.

Dreamstate: This genre is pioneered by the REM alias. It's characterised by a constant echo or delay added to a track, causing a state of disorientation due to the pulsation. The result is a trippy and dream-like sound.

Dark Dreamstate: This is nothing more than a combination of dark drone/dark ambient with the dreamstate styles. Often times it has a descension in tempo and pitch as the track progresses.

Dark ASMR: This is still in its conceptual stages, but from what I have found, it is a low-pitched ASMR recording, with some dark ambient influences. Please note the following: "Dark White Noise" doesn't count as its own genre, instead, it would fall under the "Dark ASMR" and/or "Dark Noise" genres.

Dark Vocal Drone: This isn't as new of a genre as you would think. It was innovated on 18/11/22, with the track: "Passage", by the REM alias. It is a track containing human voices delayed and/or echoed, before being slowed down or pitched-shifted down. Sometimes it consists of both effects, those being slowed and pitched down.

Otamatone Glitch: This genre is a concept I have spent the entire year perfecting. It is the use of an Otamatone, but it is pressed in such a way that the sound is glitchy and "broken". It is innovated by the "Anima Rotta" alias.

Complete list of aliases (2018 - 2025):

Vortex Reaper (May 2018): This alias is the very first one and therefore the oldest by default. Initially created to support the use of the Fast Noise Music genres of which I was listening to at the time (Speedcore to Hypertone), it eventually morphed into the most experimental alias that is seen today, being able to test the viability of specific musical styles for a new alias (part of a special 4-step programme), whilst still fulfilling its initial purpose.

Hades Vortexium (23/11/19): This alias was coined initially because I thought that multiple aliases were very cool at the time, with the BPMs being higher than that of the above alias, and also focusing on hatred and anger. Over time, the alias has only become more and more separated from Vortex Reaper, becoming a real manifestation of my absolute hatred and anger that it is known for today. The genres utilised by this alias is always Harsh Noise and any extremely loud subgenre of it.

Vantablack (December 2019): This third alias, for the first year of its existence, was used interchangeably and was indistinguishable from Hades Vortexium, until early last year, where it’s current and modern meaning was truly revealed. The modern iteration of this alias is to express despair, grief and misery. This iteration is what it is known for today. The genre utilised by this alias is Drone and Ambient.

Hypersilence (September/October 2020 and April 2021): This alias is more interesting, as it was initially meant to be an Omegatone alias, upon the release of the Omegatone genre to the rest of the world, however, the tests I conducted were denied the qualification for being considered Omegatone by the genre’s creator, DF. Thus, this alias was killed off until April last year, where upon the modernisation of Silent Music, it was revived under its modern purpose.

=+1 (June 2021): Upon the revival of Hypersilence two months prior and the creative burnout in May, =+1 was created with the intention of reinventing my career. The style of this one is very distinct, as well as its very name. The style of this alias involves jumpscaring the listener with Silent Music and Harsh Noise. Silent Music is used as the baseline of an =+1 composition, also symbolised by the “=“ in its name and the Harsh Noise sections of the composition are pasted with random durations and in random places throughout the composition. Expressed with the “+1” in its name.

Voiceless (June 2021): This alias is an alias designed to voice my outlook on reality, specialising in Silent Drone and Silent Ambient. Initially, it was used to voice my extremely pessimistic outlook on reality that I had at the time. It only released two compositions before being killed off entirely in the same month of creation.

OMEGA (Late June 2021/Early July 2021): This alias is a satirical Hypertone alias designed to make fun of Hypertone artists that use insanely large numbers of which are completely unrealistic. OMEGA also makes fun of those that use such numbers and wholeheartedly take themselves super seriously with an extreme sense of adamance.

Methrack (Mid 2021): This alias is the definitive alias for expressing my extremely warped and bizarre sense of humour. It’s name is a combination of the words “Meth” and “Crack”, as it references the level of hyperactivity and bizarreness that is my sense of humour.

FFTSD (Early/Mid-July 2021): This alias was employed as a successor by the Voiceless alias, specialising in Silent Drone and Silent Ambient. FFTSD was an alias that vocalised the pessimistic outlook on my overall personality and behaviours. FFTSD is the initialism of “Falling For The Same Delusions”.

Datasmr (July 2021): This alias is the first one to serve exactly four purposes at once. The first and second purpose have been around since it’s inception in July last year. These two are: 1): To release Raw Data and Glitch compositions and 2): To release field recordings and ASMR compositions, leading to the name “Datasmr”. The latter two purposes are the most recent. These are 3): To express how sometimes I feel like my whole life is a glitch and 4): To also express how I don’t know how to belong in the world. These two newer purposes do not override the original two.

Phantomia (July 2021): This alias is my synth alias, specialising in Synth Drone. It is the most innocent alias of mine.

Solarium (July 2021): Upon the implementation of the Phantomia alias, there were another two created in its wake. One of them being the innovator for Harsh Synth Noise. In the most simplest terms humanly possible, Solarium is a combination of Phantomia with Hades Vortexium. It has the instrumentation of Phantomia with the meanings of Hades Vortexium.

Complexity3 (July 2021): The full name of this alias is: Complexity3³³³. The second synth alias and the third alias specialising in a genre under the Silent Music medium. Again, in the most simplistic terms humanly possible, it is the combination of Hypersilence and Phantomia.

Hyperchaos (August 2021): This is the second-to-last alias from last year. It is specifically created to destroy the general sound of a composition without the use of distortion, under any circumstance. It is the main pioneer of Chaos Drone and Depressive Chaos Drone.

Deep End (24/11/21): This is the final alias of 2021, officially being implemented in December that year. It is the real personification of madness and pure chaos, being named as a direct and immediate response to losing all of my 3,100+ compositions within that singular SD Card. It’s instrumentation is the Korg Kaossilator, this alias was initially active from January to May 2022, and has resumed composing from 17/11/23 onwards to the present.

Spectralon (12/1/22): This alias is the first one of this year and also the first alias (of many) with a real positive meaning. This alias is the exact opposite of Vantablack, yet specialises in the same genre as the former. Spectralon focuses on happiness, optimism and hope and specialises in Drone and Ambient.

Shallow Incipience (May 2022): This alias is the exact opposite of Deep End, specialising in more organised compositions using the Korg Kaossilator. The main genre used by this alias tends to be Experimental Rave.

REM (Rapid Eye Movement) (6/5/22): This alias is the second alias of this year and is yet another bizarre one. It is the main innovator behind Vocal Drone, and specifically remixes human voices to sound completely unintelligible and indistinguishable by primarily using the delay effect, creating very trippy and dreamy compositions in the process. The sole topics of this alias are always related to sleeping. Occasionally involving dreams, as well as nightmares.

AM2 - Archive (1/7/22): This alias is the first and only one to act as a proper archive. This alias always uses the web-browser-based music production software “Acid Machine 2” (hence the “AM2” aspect), and uses all the aliases of which were initially active during late 2019 to very early 2020, such as “Vortex Reaper”, “Hades Vortexium”, “Vantablack”, “Existential Curriculum” and “The Harbringer”. The BPMs range from 1 to 1e+309.

Phantom Vibrations (2/9/22): This alias is the alias specifically for Infinitesimal Slow Music (ISM), thus it is focused solely on slowness rather than speed. It uses quite a few track revival methods, including pitch-shifting (similar to Hyperchaos), amplification, reverb, delaying, echoing, etc.

Herja Sonus (1/10/22): This alias is the definition of unnerving (and sometimes disturbing) music created by me. It usually focuses on Drone and Ambient, sometimes Vocal Drone and Vocal Ambient. Sometimes the genre will be experimental.

Unobtainium (13/10/22): This alias is the exact opposite of OMEGA, specialising in the exact same genre as the former, being officially appointed as successor to the Hypertone career of Vortex Reaper, with the sole purpose of going fast, endlessly. It is named because Hypertone’s supposed limit is unobtainable. This alias will also employ the exact same technique as Vortex Reaper: Breaking and all of its forms.

Memorable Mistakes (13/10/22): This alias is another negative one coined during this year, focusing on the emotion of regret. It specialises in extremely low-pitched ambient, drone, field recording, glitch and general music. It is one of two innovators behind the genre “Inframbient”.

Inaccessible (13/10/22): This alias is solely based on loneliness and specialises in both extremely low-pitched and extremely high-pitched Vocal Ambient, as well as Vocal Noise, Harsh Vocal Noise and Silent Vocal Ambient, signifying both the overwhelming aspects and underwhelming aspects of my overall personality. This alias is the second pioneer in Inframbient, also pioneering in Ultrambient, Vocal Inframbient, Vocal Glitch and Vocal Ultrambient

Tristitia (17/10/22): This alias solely focuses on sadness, with slow melodies and low-pitched melodies and sounds. The name is "sadness" in Latin.

Eros (17/10/22): This alias is the exact opposite of Hades Vortexium, focusing solely on love and pleasure, the style of this alias is mostly symphonic and sometimes orchestral, with a little drone and ambient as well. It is also defined by looping melodies that would convey love, with a (mostly) slower BPM, usually anywhere between 30 - 200+. Rarely ever breaking the 250 BPM mark. The name means “Love And Pleasure” in Latin.

Cruciatus (17/10/22): This is the most recent alias thus far, created in response to yet another majorly negative personal event of which has occurred. This alias focuses on pain, and will include very painful sounds that are 100% meant to hurt your ears, specialising in every harsh genre in existence, but exclusively under the context of pain and suffering. The name means “Pain” in Latin. This alias usually specialises in Reverb Noise.

Memorivere (20/10/22): This alias focuses on nostalgia, typically using sounds from the early-late 2000’s and maybe the 2010’s. The purpose is to express the emotional acknowledgment of the past and also look toward the future.

Voidscape (21/11/22): This alias is another unique extension of my musical personality and repertoire. This alias solely utilises Soundscape, a very similar technique to REM, but there is echo before the delay, after which the result is slowed down by halving its original speed.

Impotentium (30/11/22): This alias is quite possibly the second-to-last negative one of this year. It is based on the feeling of powerlessness and attempts to convey such with very slow, low-pitched and depressive songs in its wake. The main genre is Depressive Slowcore.

Unthink (12/12/22): This alias is a second sibling alias to that of “Deep End”, however, unlike Shallow Incipience, this alias focuses on the exact same concept as the former, but executes it with the utilisation of digital DAWs and music production software, rather than the Korg Kaossilator KO-1. This alias focuses on extremely disorienting, chaotic and utterly insane and overwhelming madness, exactly like Deep End does. Some titles will be numbered or labelled “Untitled (number)”. This alias is the main user of the “Chaosequence” genre, as well as the unseen and unheard “Godless” genre. The madness this alias brings is inexplicable to all who listen, even myself. Because everything is random, from the level of amplification to the BPMs, to the time signatures, to the samples, to the effects used, to the percussion. Everything this alias does is completely random.

Máthēma (13/12/22): This alias wasn’t named until just recently, having been referred to as the “Unknown Avant-Garde Mathematical Alias (UAGMA)” for the better-part of over a year. It was given the name “Máthēma” because it is the most mathematical alias of all. It uses self-proposed formulae to change the BPM values of its compositions, each value and formula being different every time. The titles are the full expression of the formulas used (usually). All genres are random, ranging from ISM to Hypertone levels of BPM.

TNYJ (Summer 2017, reinstated on 25/1/23): This is the so called “Alias 0”. It is myself. Initially, it was coined in the Summer of 2017 because I wanted to make “actual music”, back when I was 12. But it was abandoned in May 2018 to establish the more underground “Vortex Reaper” alias, at 13 and a 1/2. Nowadays, the style consists of “the absolute combination of every alias and their respective musical styles, genres and techniques." Sometimes, there will be several styles in a singular composition, even rarer are the ones incorporating every musical style. The difference with this style when compared to every alias in the roster is it’s either more defined in structure and rhythm or more defined in the absence of the aforementioned, being extremely chaotic and more unlistenable to everyone even in the underground. One could say it’s more of a “Glitchcore/Extreme Glitch-based” style, in the most basic terms imaginable, but it isn’t the case whatsoever. On the other hand, one could say that this style is more “mainstream”, when in reality, it also isn’t the case. Another defining feature is that those two characteristics sometimes combine, either organically, inorganically or both. The generic style is a combination of the underground styles and the more surface-level styles as well, never balancing, always swaying from one side to another, at random intervals. One song could be surface-level, then immediately after, the following track could be extremely underground. On other occasions, one track could have a surface-level part (from the intro to say, the halfway point), then out of nowhere, switch suddenly to extreme underground-level music. It is completely random, always switching between these very variables. But, there is a slight twist to this as well. Sometimes there will be entire compositions that are more surface-level in their entirety, and others that are more underground in their entirety. Depending on what I feel like composing.

Insobrius (22/9/23): This is a weird relative of the REM alias, the theme of Insobrius is that of drunkenness. The main innovator of Dark Vocal Drone and Dark Vocal Ambient. The sounds of the compositions of this alias are "slurred", as if you're actually drunk. There's an ominous bass/low noise in the background of the track that covers the Vocal Ambient, enshrouding it as to cause further disorientation. The resulting effect is to convey the feeling of being tipsy or woozy. There'll be weird jumps and/or cuts into differing parts of the tracks, either from later or earlier sections of them. Another differentiator that separates the alias from that of REM and Inaccessible is that there are random stutters  and other random glitches (inspired by that of Datasmr), to convey the "Lag of thought", as called by it. The bass/low-noise will partially obscure the Vocal Ambient, on occasion, along the other stylistic differentiators.  The alias is a new side of me, never heard before. This alias, as of 15/9/23, is in the conceptual stage of development.

Destore (4/4/24): This alias is focused on low-quality music, the name being a play on the words: "Destroy" and "Restore". Because some tracks would be a "reconstruction" of another (possibly older) track. The meaning is yet to be discovered, as the alias is still being implemented, as of 8/4/24. The style is of any genre, but of low quality. This alias would be considered as "disgusting", as the low quality makes it more unlistenable than any other alias thus far. One could say that the alias is related to the concept of "Degradation". An example: The degradation of one's mental state.

Droner (30/10/24, finalised on 3/11/24): This alias is my (true) Drone alias, focusing on monotony and how boring life is because of it. It also focuses on Extradrone, but those tracks are extremely rare by comparison. The name and style focus on how boring and monotonous it is, especially since the Drone tracks themselves are longer. Ranging from 15+ minutes to several hours.

Anima Rotta (15/12/24): This alias is built on my past trauma — the abuse I suffered during my childhood and adolescence. The meaning is about the consequences of this, namely my self-image issues. Imagery associated with this alias will be shattered glass, because I am a broken soul still trying to escape his past and build a better future for himself. The titles of its works will always be associated with trauma, past and present. It is NOT to be confused with Cruciatus. Since, Cruciatus is the musical definition of pain and suffering on the emotional level, whereas Anima Rotta is the definition of the mental and emotional scarring. The style is the usage of the Otamatone instrument. It is the main innovator of the genre: "Otamatone Glitch". The self-image issues in the case of this alias is the fractured/fragmented sense of self-worth. NOT self-hatred or worthlessness as seen in both Hades Vortexium and Tristitia. Especially in the case of Tristitia. Since that alias deals with sadness and the complete absence of self-worth.

Superluminal (2/1/25): This is the first alias of 2025. The alias focuses on (extreme) Hypertone. The BPMs are equally as legitimate as Unobtainium. The method involves the use of "Digit Skipping" - a method that uses extreme speed multipliers in the form of custom-made macros. The largest digit skip is 1000. The speed multiplier is x10¹⁰⁰⁰ (a googolchime), and the lowest can skip 2 digits (x100).

Negroid Destroyer (8/4/25 - 21/4/25): This alias is undoubtedly the most controversial ever. Entirely focused on politics, it is the most """""hateful""""" alias of all, just like Hades Vortexium (however it isn't genuine hate and anger, it's a "character", if you will, whereas Hades Vortexium isn't.). But unlike Hades Vortexium, it does not focus on Harsh Noise and Power Electronics-related music at all. Instead, it uses every genre it wants to, like the TNYJ alias does, but with extremely racist overtones. There are NEVER, EVER any threats issued with this alias, it exists solely under the guise of ARTISTIC EXPRESSION & FREEDOM OF SPEECH!!!

Wanderer (6/8/25): This is the "second" alias of this year (whilst it is actually the third). It was originally conceptualised during 2024, but it wasn't fully revised until very recently. The meaning of the alias is derived from wandering through life aimlessly. The usual theme of the alias is about "Halls". Or "Hallways". As it is a reflection of wandering blindly through unfamiliar places and areas. The genre is ambient, like Vantablack and Herja Sonus, however, the twist is a bunch of reverb. Another unique thing about this alias is that the tracks are all composed with an audio editing app I have installed on my phone. It is the only alias that is exclusive to the "DAW" on my phone.

EXTRA NOTICE REGARDING MY ALIASES:

They are NOT actual separate personalities, but rather a specific part of my singular, overall personality. They, upon the revelations I have experienced from 18/10/22 onwards, are very specific parts of my personality that is, still, miraculously, in one, single piece, honed into an exclusively musical expression, with extremely vast differences in styles, purposes and techniques of creating music. Some combine techniques of other aliases and still work as a distinct style and others are completely distinct without the methodological combinations. However, they could be classified as “musical personalities”, due to some of them being created as a coping mechanism in response to majorly negative events in my life.

My generic music identity is “TNYJ”.

Notice Regarding Datasmr’s status being changed: Datasmr as of late has had its status changed from positive to neutral because of the following main reason: It has gained two newer purposes in the advent of my current social and personal life. These two new purposes are: 1: To express the fact that I feel like a glitch due to my bizarre existence. 2: To express not knowing how to belong in the world. Both of these purposes add to the pre-existing and original two purposes granted upon implementation back in June 2021. Which means that Datasmr has four purposes in total, the most out of any alias so far.

BONUS NOTICE: My generic musical identity (“TNYJ”) is the absolute combination of every alias and their respective musical styles, genres and techniques. Sometimes there will be several styles in a singular composition, even rarer are the ones incorporating every musical style. The difference with this style when compared to every alias in the roster is it’s either more defined in structure and rhythm or more defined in the absence of the aforementioned, being extremely chaotic and more unlistenable to everyone even in the underground. One song could be surface-level, then immediately after, the following track could be extremely underground. On other occasions, one track could have a surface-level part (from the intro to say, the halfway point), then out of nowhere, switch suddenly to extreme underground-level music. It is completely random, always switching between these very variables.

DISCONTINUED PROJECTS:

TeaL (July 2022 - February 2024): TeaL was a band between myself and a former close friend of mine. It focused primarily on remixing physical instruments with digital audio-editing software, having an extremely unique sound and style in the process. After a major falling-out - a betrayal against me, in early December 2023, the project was scrapped and the band dissolved in February 2024.

Other curiosities about me: I have had a very deep and passionate interest in the Lepidoptera order of insects (Butterflies and Moths) from a very young age (3/5 years old). I plan on becoming a Lepidopterist solely for my own personal convenience on identifying butterflies and moths.

This blog will be updated in due time.
